Christian Atsu’s Sister Promises to Continue Her Brother’s Work

, Ghana Street Journal

Christiana Atsupi Twasam, the late Christian Atsu’s sister, visited the orphanage his brother adopted and made a commitment to carry on with his legacy.

Apart from Atsu’s prowess on the green turf, his remarkable philanthropism endeared him to a lot of people, depicted in the plethora of glowing tributes that poured in for him when he died in the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria last month.

The former Newcastle star, amongst his huge sense of generosity, fostered Becky’s Foundation, an orphanage in Senya Bereku, in the Awutu-Senya West District of Central Region, prior to his passing.

In a video originally uploaded by Crime Check TV and reshared by blogger SoCalledCelebs, Atsupi wore a smile for the first time since Atsu’s death while promising the aforementioned orphanage that she would step into her brother’s shoes and continue from where he left off.
