Chloë Grace Moretz has taken a significant step in both her personal life and political activism by publicly endorsing Kamala Harris in the upcoming election, marking her first official declaration of being gay.

The actress shared a photo on social media featuring her “I Voted Early” sticker on her leg, along with a message supporting Harris, whom she believes will champion the rights that matter to her as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

In her post, Moretz emphasized the high stakes of the election, underscoring critical issues such as women’s reproductive rights and legal protections for LGBTQ+ individuals. “There’s so much on the line in this election,” she stated, highlighting how these topics resonate profoundly with her own experiences.

Although Moretz’s sexual orientation has been the subject of speculation over the years—having been romantically linked to model Kate Harrison and actively involved in LGBTQ+ events—this announcement signifies her first public identification as gay. She previously portrayed a gay character in the film “The Miseducation of Cameron Post,” which tackles the harsh realities of conversion therapy.

Reflecting on her upbringing in a conservative Christian community in Georgia, Moretz has shared how her experiences shaped her perspective on the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly those close to her, including her two gay brothers.

Chloë Grace Moretz is an American actress and model, born on February 10, 1997. She began her acting career at a young age and gained widespread recognition for her roles in films such as Kick-Ass (2010), where she played the character Hit-Girl, and The Miseducation of Cameron Post (2018), which deals with the struggles of LGBTQ+ youth and conversion therapy.

Moretz has also starred in notable films like Let Me In (2010), Carrie (2013), and The 5th Wave (2016).
