Bobrisky Cites Breast Pain Before Hospitalization

Controversial Nigerian social media personality, Bobrisky, was rushed to the Police Hospital in Falomo, Lagos, on Wednesday after reportedly experiencing severe chest pain.

This health scare came shortly after he spent hours in custody at the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Alagbon, Lagos.

Sources close to the situation revealed that Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye, began complaining of discomfort around 2 p.m., prompting officers to transport him to the hospital.

However, the circumstances surrounding this medical visit have raised eyebrows, particularly because it coincided with plans to transfer him to the Special Fraud Unit (SFU) under the Lagos State Police Command.

According to reports from Vanguard, police officials had been preparing for Bobrisky’s transfer to the SFU when his health suddenly took a turn.

Some sources within the police suggest that the timing of the ambulance trip may have been strategically planned to avoid media scrutiny during the transfer process. One insider hinted, “There was a concern about drawing public attention, which is why they arranged for a police ambulance, license plate LLD339LP, to discreetly transport him to the hospital.”

Before being taken to the hospital, Bobrisky reportedly complained about significant pain in his chest, which he referred to as his “breast.” This prompted the officers to prioritize a hospital visit before proceeding with his transfer to the SFU. One police officer explained, “He was in visible discomfort, and we had to make sure his condition was stable before any further actions were taken.”

While being held at the FCID, Bobrisky was reportedly placed in isolation, away from other detainees. Two armed officers were assigned to guard his cell, ensuring his safety and monitoring his health until he was escorted to the ambulance for transport to the hospital.

During the brief exchange inside the ambulance, when asked to confirm his identity, Bobrisky used his male birth name, Idris, according to police sources.

The incident has generated considerable speculation, with some questioning whether the health complaint was genuine or simply a diversion tactic to delay his transfer. However, Bobrisky’s current medical status and any official statements regarding the incident are yet to be confirmed.

Bobrisky has been no stranger to controversy, and this latest episode adds another layer of complexity to his ongoing legal issues, while his health remains a concern.
