Black Stars technical team involved in accident on Tarkwa-Takoradi highway

Reports from MyNewsGh indicate that the Technical Team of Ghana’s Black Stars was involved in an accident on the Tarkwa-Takoradi highway.

Fortunately, it appears that no one sustained injuries in the serious incident; however, all individuals on board have been taken to the hospital for precautionary medical evaluations.

While the team members emerged without physical harm, they are undergoing checks as a safety measure.

MyNewsGh did not provide details regarding the cause of the accident due to limited information available.

Meanwhile, online footage has surfaced, revealing the severity of the accident, and highlighting the fortunate outcome that no fatalities or serious injuries occurred.

John Painstil whose voice is heard in the video said “This is not going to happen to us, never. We are hurt; it is later we will know that we are hurt. I feel some pain”.

The report indicates that the team was present in Tarkwa for the Champions of Champions match featuring Samatex and Nsoatreman FC at TnA Park.

Those involved in the incident include head coach Otto Addo, second assistant John Paintsil, and goalkeeper trainer Fatawu Dauda.
