Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, has responded sharply to Shatta Wale amid their ongoing legal tussle concerning the late Fennec Okyere, accusing the dancehall star of peddling falsehoods and creating unnecessary tensions.
In a recent interview, Bulldog revealed the personal toll Shatta Wale’s accusations have taken on his relationships and reputation.
“So now he is threatening judges?” Bulldog questioned, referring to Shatta Wale’s recent comments expressing frustration with Ghana’s legal system. “I took him to court because he said I told him I killed Fennec, and that case is still unresolved.”

The feud between the two former collaborators stems from allegations made by Shatta Wale in November 2022, where he claimed Bulldog confessed to orchestrating the murder of Fennec Okyere, a former manager of rapper Kwaw Kese.
The allegations led to Bulldog filing a defamation lawsuit, which is yet to be resolved.
Bulldog disclosed that the situation had broader implications, claiming it led to political interference and strained friendships.
“Because of what Shatta said, some people from the NPP started trying to conspire against me with my colleagues. One of my very close friends, someone I sit on radio with all the time, was called and connived with the party.”
Highlighting his close relationship with the late Fennec Okyere, Bulldog expressed hurt over the insinuations. “People don’t know that Fennec was my friend. He used to eat at my house, my wife used to cook for him. So, if you don’t know the background, don’t talk anyhow,” he said, addressing critics and those unfamiliar with his history with the late manager.

Despite his grievances, Bulldog emphasized that he has chosen restraint over retaliation. “If I were a bad person, I would have sued Shatta for a million Ghana cedis,” he remarked, implying that his decision to seek justice in court rather than escalating the feud further is a testament to his character.
