Andre Ayew Sees Red Just Two Minutes Into Le Havre Debut

Andre Ayew’s attempt to revive his fading career in France took a disastrous turn when he received a red card just two minutes into his debut for Le Havre.

The Ghana captain, who joined the Ligue 1 side two weeks ago, was sent off in the 67th minute for a challenge that was deemed dangerous. Despite being unveiled before the November international break, Ayew found himself among the substitutes for Le Havre’s league clash against Nantes on Saturday afternoon.

He was brought on in the 65th minute, replacing Loic Nego, but his time on the pitch was short-lived as he was shown a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Swiss defender Eray Cormet. As a result, Le Havre had to play the remainder of the game with 10 men, but they managed to hold on and salvage a draw against Nantes.

Recently, Dede has been a free agent and has expressed his desire to take his time in deciding his next club move. As the captain of Ghana’s national team, he wants to ensure that he chooses a club that will allow him to continue showcasing his skills on the field.

After his six-month deal with Nottingham Forest expired, he received offers from various clubs in Europe and the Arab world but settled on the French club.
