After Cristiano Ronaldo broke the mark for most international appearances, Al-Nassr, his present club honoured him by presenting him with a special cake.
The 38-year-old surpassed Bader Al-Mutawa of Kuwait, who had made 196 appearances for his country when Portugal played Liechtenstein in their inaugural Euro 2024 qualifying game.
Al Nassr organized a unique cake in Ronaldo’s honour to celebrate the accomplishment. The official Twitter page of the Saudi Arabian club shared a smiling Ronaldo relishing the cake while giving thumbs up.
The club wrote;

Meanwhile, adding Adding his opinion to the age-long debate about who the greatest is between Messi and Ronaldo, Patrice Evra has stuck with his former teammate by insisting Ronaldo has the edge over his rival.
While appearing on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel FIVE, the United legend said;
I want to explain why I say Ronaldo every time. It’s not because he’s our brother it’s because I’m in love with his work ethic.
I feel like Messi, god just gave him a talent and Cristiano had to work for it. He had the talent but he had to work for it. If Messi had the same work ethic as Ronaldo, he would probably have like 15 Ballon d’Ors today. I’m just in love with people working hard, so I pick Ronaldo over Messi.
