In what marks a new chapter in his political career, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the Member of Parliament for the Effutu constituency, has pledged unwavering dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as he assumes the role of Minority Leader in the 9th Parliament.
“The party will issue an official statement,” Afenyo-Markin noted during a brief interaction with journalists.
“But all I can say is that I thank the National Council for the trust reposed in me; the decision to confirm me to lead my side in Parliament.
