According to a report by Citi News, actor Kwadwo Nkansah aka Lilwin has been arrested by the police at the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command following his release from the hospital.
The arrest is in connection with a recent accident in which he was driving and tragically caused the death of a three-year-old boy.
The family of the deceased has been demanding justice, leading to intensified efforts by the police.
Despite the delay in his arrest due to his health condition, a police vehicle was stationed at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital to take him into custody immediately after his discharge.
As investigations into the incident are ongoing, Lilwin has been transferred to the Manhyia Divisional Police Command of the MTTD.
