A video compilation showcasing the dissatisfaction of Ghanaians with the current government led by Nana Akufo-Addo has surfaced online.
The general sentiment Ghanaians have expressed so far is that the current administration is the worst in history, marked by the depreciation of the cedi, unfulfilled promises, high unemployment rates, and rising costs of goods and services.
As a result, many members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), including some prominent figures, have publicly sought forgiveness from John Dramani Mahama for their actions during his tenure, which they now believe were more favourable than the current situation in Ghana.
In the video, individuals such as Barima Sydney, Captain Smart, Hopeson Ardorye, Kennedy Agyapong, and Odike, expressed regret for the propaganda tactics used to remove Mahama from power, which they now acknowledge have backfired.
The participants in the video acknowledged that Mahama’s performance as president far exceeded that of Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
They unanimously agreed that Mahama should be allowed to return to office and continue his positive impact.
The video was shared on X by comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB), who remarked that he had never witnessed such a level of vindication before.
Sharing the post, DKB said;
Waow, I’ve never seen such a vindication in my life before! Herh 😂 😂 😂
