7 Key Takeaways from Prophet Kofi Oduro’s Condemnation of Prophet Ogyaba

Prophet Kofi Oduro did not hold back in his fiery rebuke of Prophet Ogyaba, condemning his alleged extramarital affairs and calling out immoral conduct among pastors.

Here are seven key points from his speech:

1. Adultery Tarnishes God’s Name

“When you fall into adultery, you give others the chance to speak ill of God’s name,” Prophet Oduro warned, emphasizing that such actions bring shame to Christianity.

2. Pastors Must Lead, Not Mislead

“You have a wife, and someone comes to your church. It is your duty to lead that person toward salvation,” he reminded, stressing that spiritual leaders should protect, not prey on, their congregants.

3. The Pulpit Should Not Be a Place of Scandal

“It is not your role to take off her bra or abuse her. You hold a sacred office, and you must not abuse that trust,” Oduro declared, condemning the defilement of the church’s reputation.

4. No Self-Control? No Pulpit!

“Anyone who cannot control himself does not deserve to be in the pulpit. If God hasn’t called you, go and sit somewhere. Stop the work and sell cassava,” he said, stressing that discipline is a non-negotiable trait of a true man of God.

5. A Strong Warning to Promiscuous Pastors

“I am speaking to Ghanaian promiscuous prophets: repent! The blood of those girls you’ve slept with is on your head. You will die a miserable death,” Prophet Oduro warned, holding immoral pastors accountable.

6. No Woman Can Tempt Him

“If a woman strips and stands in front of me, I won’t have any thoughts, not even a feeling,” he boldly stated, presenting himself as an example of self-discipline.

7. Women Must Also Take Responsibility

“The lady didn’t find anyone else other than a pastor? She knows the pastor is married but still went ahead,” he remarked, criticizing women who knowingly engage in affairs with pastors.

Prophet Oduro’s message has reignited discussions on morality in the church, calling for true spiritual discipline among religious leaders.
