Prophet Kofi Oduro has expressed his dismay at the state of modern Christianity, pointing out the troubling rise of immoral church leaders who justify their unethical actions while continuing to deceive their congregations.
This criticism came in the wake of prophet Ogyaba’s scandal, where Oduro highlighted the stark contrast between these deceptive pastors and the true spiritual leadership exemplified by revered figures like Reverend Eastwood Anaba.
With frustration in his voice, Oduro remarked, “Madness, you didn’t like it for?”—a rhetorical question that encapsulated his disbelief at how some pastors defend their misconduct, even going so far as to engage in acts of extortion and immorality, yet continuing to stand on the pulpit, attempting to justify their actions.

Prophet Oduro contrasted this behaviour with the life and work of Reverend Eastwood Anaba, whom he described as a beacon of humility and spiritual integrity.
Oduro, reflecting on personal moments spent with Reverend Anaba and Mama Roson, shared how their unwavering commitment to God has been a model for him and countless others in the faith community.
“There is not a single ministry where Mama Roson does not eagerly bow her head for the ministry of the spirit,” Oduro shared, stressing the humility and devotion that have defined their ministry over the years.
Despite their many years of service, both Reverend Anaba and Mama Roson continue to show deep reverence for the divine, a quality that Oduro believes is sorely lacking in many modern church leaders today.
