The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations is fast approaching, and the Black Stars of Ghana are ready to make their mark.

They are not only ready to display their football skills as far as the tournament is concerned but also showcased the rich culture of Ghana by wearing authentic Kente cloth as they arrive in Côte d’Ivoire, bringing with them a sense of pride and distinction.

The Black Stars will face tough competition from Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique in Group B. Their first match will be against Cape Verde on January 14, 2023, at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium.

After their recent goalless draw with Namibia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Ghanaian contingent wasted no time and left the country. Before their departure, a special dinner event was organized in their honour in Accra, hosted by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

This event, held on January 9, 2023, at the Jubilee House, served as a farewell to the team as they embarked on their journey to Ivory Coast for the tournament.

The Black Stars of Ghana are determined to make their nation proud and leave a lasting impression at the 2023 African Cup of Nations.
