“You Want To Be President, But How Many Jobs Have You Created?” – Ken Agyapong Quizzes NPP Presidential Aspirants

Ghanaian politician and businessman, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who’s seeking to become the Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, has cast doubts on the capabilities of his competitors.

In a video in which the presidential aspirant was addressing party members, the Assin Central MP boasted about creating jobs for thousands of people, while his competitors have done no such thing.

“I want you to ask all the candidates who are going to compete: “You want to be president, but how many jobs have you generated to employ our children?.”

“Having to pay my employees and the accompanying bonuses during the Christmas season is a perfect example of the kind of thinking individuals do. I had to pay bonuses despite the fact that times are tough and people are struggling to make ends meet.”

“It would have been unfair to withhold the money because of the difficulties being experienced in their own homes. I had to forego my compensation in order to keep my employees content, and that came at a cost to me.”

According to the CEO of Kencity Media with other business interests, he has employed 7,158 people.

“To date, I have hired 7,158 people to work for me. Question all of the incoming applicants on whether or not they have managed a company of 300 people” he argued.
