Tensions between two of Ghana’s biggest music stars, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, reached a new level of drama during an interview on Angel FM when Stonebwoy fired back at his long-time rival.
Stonebwoy slammed Shatta Wale, addressing recent controversies and the accusations that have stirred their public feud.
“My brother, you have not done anything wrong to me. You have done nothing wrong to me,” Stonebwoy began, directing his words toward Shatta Wale, who was present at the event. “If Mr. Mouth gives you money, it is not a problem because he is a settings man. You fell for settings.”
Stonebwoy’s comments hinted at a deeper rivalry, with the “settings man” remark alluding to Shatta Wale’s controversial dealings and the behind-the-scenes politics that often shape the public narratives of the artists.
The “settings” Stonebwoy referred to could suggest manipulation or deals that have affected Shatta Wale’s public image or business decisions.

He continued to emphasize the difference in their journeys and blessings, particularly about their personal success.
“For someone who has bought a Ross Royce which hasn’t been imported to Ghana but he has gone there to sit inside, today I’ve given you people news,” Stonebwoy quipped.
“He knows me and knows that you’ll find fault with me but you won’t find it. Portfolio fell for his settings.”
Stonebwoy didn’t stop there. He further reflected on his own success, making it clear that he wasn’t interested in bragging.
“Do you know the cars I drive? Do you know the blessings of God on my life that I don’t talk about?” he asked, seemingly aiming to set the record straight about his achievements and how they are often overshadowed by the drama between him and Shatta Wale.
The dancehall king also took a moment to criticize the media, calling out their role in perpetuating falsehoods.
“I also blame the media for not being truthful sometimes. It is this same person who claimed to have bought a house for his mother which turned out not to be true,” Stonebwoy said, challenging Shatta Wale’s credibility on public claims.
This public spat between the two stars comes after years of musical rivalry and occasional reconciliations.
