Every great artist has a muse, and for Kuami Eugene, the Lynx Entertainment signee and hitmaker, it often comes in the form of real-life encounters.

During an interview on Property FM with Amansan Krakye, Kuami Eugene delved into the creative process behind his music, revealing how personal experiences and interactions shape his lyrics and melodies.

“The life that I’m living—both past, present, and even the future—those that I come into contact with influence the kind of songs that I do,” the Rockstar explained.

This revelation offers a glimpse into the intimate and authentic nature of his artistry, where the stories he tells are drawn from real moments and relationships.

Kuami Eugene didn’t shy away from giving a specific example. “I’ve had a couple of encounters with a certain Abena,” he shared, smiling as he recalled the memory. “So when you listen to my songs, you hear such a name in the lyrics or the title.”

It’s no secret that many of his fans have often wondered about the recurring female names in his songs, from Angela to Abena.

Addressing this curiosity, he clarified, “Yes, it does happen that some of my songs include female names. These are ladies that I’ve had an encounter with, either as a friend or in a relationship.”

This approach to songwriting adds a relatable layer to his music. For listeners, it’s like stepping into Kuami Eugene’s world and experiencing his highs, lows, and heartwarming connections.

As he continues to create, Kuami Eugene promises more heartfelt songs inspired by his life and those who cross his path. “Normally, I’m talking about someone, especially sharing the story of a female I’ve come across in the songs I do,” he said.
