In an interview on Joy Prime, Ghanaian highlife and Afrobeat star Kuami Eugene shared his views on marriage and parenthood, surprising many fans with his unconventional stance.
The singer, known for his hit songs and captivating performances, revealed that tying the knot isn’t on his immediate agenda.
“I feel I’m too young to get married now. At 27, there’s no need to rush into it. Maybe I’ll consider marriage when I turn 30,” Kuami Eugene stated. His relaxed demeanor as he discussed his future goals painted a picture of a young man who values taking his time to build his life and career.
However, the Lynx Entertainment signee didn’t shy away from expressing a different kind of commitment—parenthood. “I prefer having kids to getting married. I want to have eight children,” he added, laughing at the idea of managing a large family.

In 2020, he denied allegations of dating social media influencer Cyrilla Oppong, asserting their relationship was strictly platonic.
More recently, his name was associated with budding actress Priscilla Quaye after photos of the two surfaced online.
While Kuami has remained tight-lipped on these matters, he appears more focused on his career and plans than settling down romantically.
