Yaw Tog, whose real name is Thorsten Owusu Gyimah was born on May 8, 2003, a Ghanaian rapper who specialises in drill music.

Gyimah attended Opoku Ware Senior High School during the time we know about him. Yaw Tog spent his entire childhood in Santasi, which is located in Kumasi, until music brought him to prominence.

Music Career

Yaw tog is a member of the Asakaa rap group in Ghana. His song “Sore” became viral and included O’Kenneth, City Boy, Reggies, and Jay Bahd.

On the remix, which was created by Chris Rich, the song also featured Kwesi Arthur and Stormzy. He is best known for this song.

He won Hip-hop Song of the Year at 3Music Awards in 2021. That same year, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards also conferred on him Best Hip-Pop Song of the Year
