Nollywood actress Eberechukwu Bayray Nwizu has revealed that the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) has become a crucial factor for actresses seeking coveted roles in the industry.
According to her, certain producers now prefer actresses with enhanced backsides, favoring social media sensations over raw talent, as they believe these personalities can better promote their projects.

Making an appearance on TVC’s program, Wake Up Nigeria, Nwizu acknowledged the industry’s progress in terms of capital and infrastructure but expressed concern about the shift in casting preferences towards physical attributes like BBL procedures.
“Ten years ago, it was you’re not fair enough, you’re not tall enough, you’re not full enough; now it’s you don’t have BBL,” she stated.
While recognizing the profit-driven nature of the industry, Nwizu emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance, encouraged aspiring actors not to feel obligated to conform to these new standards and suggested an alternative path.

“The good news is that now you don’t have to conform to them. You can take advantage of any of the streaming platforms, start creating your own content, and grow. We don’t have any excuses anymore. There are always going to be those who say, you have to do this to be in my movie,” she said,
