Okyeame Kwame, one-half of the defunct Akyeame music duo, has discussed the challenges preventing the group from reuniting.
Following their separation years ago to focus on individual careers, Quophi Okyeame found success in radio.
At the same time, Okyeame Kwame established himself as a top rapper in Ghana, earning numerous awards and producing hit songs while augmenting entertainment news in Ghana.
Despite collaborating on a few tracks with Quophi recently, Okyeame Kwame cited their busy schedules as a barrier to a full reunion.

“We have done some recordings; the difficult thing is putting it out but once we put it out and then what. If we put it out then we must stop whatever we are doing and chase it together and now play shows together, to do stuffs together.
“I think that we have not both not come to terms with how important it is and how fun that would be but sometimes I call Emma on stage to perform like the VGMA, I was supposed to perform M’asan aba with him but he had an emergency,” he said during the interview conducted on July 3.
