Burna Boy has provided insight into his decision to refrain from conducting giveaways for his fans on social media.
The self-styled African Giants clarified that he chooses not to engage in such activities to seek validation or pursue fame, unlike his peers.
During a recent live session on Instagram with his fans, Burna Boy expressed that he directs his financial contributions towards individuals who genuinely require assistance.
He emphasized that Instagram and other social media platforms are not his primary focus when he feels compelled to extend monetary support to others.
Burna Boy said; “Me I no dey do all this una stardom style. I do giveaway to places that really matters, to people that really need it and most of them are not on the Instagram”.
Burna Boy made another controversial statement on Twitter not too long ago when he shared a cryptic post that was interpreted by fans as a subtle dig at his main rival, Davido.
In the post, Burna Boy hinted that someone, whose identity he did not reveal, falsely claimed to have given him an expensive chain.
He stated that he would address this issue of deceitfulness, but he wants to wait until he has received the money from a deal with Cokobar.
In addition to discussing the alleged fake chain, Burna Boy also mentioned that he will touch upon other related topics that may or may not be connected to the same individual.
Burna Boy wrote; “We go still visit that audio chain and many more o. No worry, make @Cokobar money expire first.”
In a separate post, he said; “U see me dey smile nor mean say I dey smile o. Eyin fans mi, Dey play.”
