Nigerian comedian Efe Warriboy has addressed the issue of musician Buju’s shade towards Davido in a trending video.
Efe believes that Buju, now known as BNXN, should apologize to his older colleague Davido for disrespecting him without any provocation.
The incident occurred on Twitter when a fan of Davido commented on a post about Buju promoting a new artist, stating, “He’s mid-abeg.”
In response, Buju criticized the fan, claiming that he has no right to speak on music matters as a Davido fan.
Although Buju later apologized, Efe stressed the importance of artistes surrounding themselves with a reasonable team to prevent emotional outbursts, just like he did.
In a video posted on social media, Efe advised Buju to remain calm and learn when to stay silent, as his actions could negatively impact his career.
Efe expressed his disappointment in Buju’s behaviour, as he had respected him before. He emphasized that Davido did not deserve the insult and that Buju had put himself in a position that could have been avoided.
