Kenyan hip-hop recording artiste, radio host, businessman, and philanthropist Hubert Mbuku Nakitare, better known by his stage name Nonini, was married to the beautiful gospel singer, Lady Bee.
He was born in California Estate in the Kamukunji constituency of Nairobi, Kenya on October 2, 1982. He attended Kawethei Secondary School in Machakos County. With 18 years under his belt, Nonini has established himself as an influential figure in the Kenyan music industry.
Nonini chaired the Kenyan Performers Rights Society and kept his record company promoting local talent. He was one of the most influential musicians in entertainment in Kenya, and his passion for his craft earned him the nickname “Godfather of Genge” (Mass Music).
The song “Nonini Ni Nani?” was his first commercial release. The song that became a smash hit and launched his career as an urban musician in Kenya.
In 2004, after spending two years honing his skills, the musician published his first album, titled Hanyaring Game. With hit tunes like “Keroro,” which is slang for beer in the country, the album was a smashing success.
The song “furahi-day,” which he co-created with the singer Nameless, is well recognised as a Friday anthem. The song “Nani Mwenza,” which he co-wrote and performed with Tanzanian musician Juma Nature, was a success in the region. Nonini is the brains behind the video production company “Pro Habo Entertainment,” which launched the careers of the members of P Unit.

He was married to the Kenya gospel singer, Lady Bee. The two got married in 2010, and they had a son together. Nonini and Lady Bee welcomed their son, Jaden Githara Nakitare, on May 7, 2012.
The artist, however, is very private when it comes to his family, which is off-limits to the public. Apparently, Lady Bee is now married to another Kenyan artist after she divorced him. He has been demonstrating his excellent parental skills by altering the lyrical content of his songs to create music that he is comfortable with his son listening to.
