The Mama hitmaker is a married man. In 2020, he granted an interview in which he revealed his wife to the world, saying that two years after meeting her, they fell in love and eventually got married.
This shocks many people because he has never discussed what appears to be one of the entertainments in Kenya or show business’s best-kept secrets. In fact, Kenzo has kept a low profile ever since he broke up with his last girlfriend.
“We met in South B, where I live. We fell for each other, and from there, one thing led to another. As they say, the rest is history. My wife is a business lady, and together we are running some businesses as a family,” Kenzo said.
The musician revealed he and his wife had been married for two years in an interview with Standard Entertainment and Lifestyle in 2020, making their marriage five years old at the moment.
Kenzo Matata has two children with his wife. The couple has a 4-year-old son, Tumiso, and a daughter. On March 1, 2023, Kenzo Matata announced on Instagram that he and his wife, Rose Kwamboka, had been blessed with a daughter, saying, “I might not have much, but I know am blessed… Baby number two,” with a heart emoji.
