Kenyan hip-hop artiste Paul Julius Nunda, better known by his stage name Jua Cali, is married to Lily Asigo.

The rapper, who performs in Swahili and Sheng, a Kenyan style of rapping called Genge that is popular in entertainment in Kenya, is a married man.
As a result of Jua Cali and his wife’s low-key marriage, their split in 2022 went unnoticed for several months. Lily Asigo, his wife, said she left their marital home for a while after they split up, but she wouldn’t say why. She advised those who post personal details about their love lives online, stating that they should separate between showbiz and real-life relationships.
Lily Asigo, the wife of veteran musician Jua Cali, recently spoke out about her marriage, explaining that the couple maintains a strict level of privacy. She explained that she and her star husband have learned the hard way not to share personal details on social media.
Asigo in an interview that she had temporarily moved out of her marital house last year following a breakup, but that nobody knew about it because they kept their relationship private.
She refused to elaborate on the private matter that led to their separation and subsequently reconciliation, claiming only that it was settled peacefully. Asigo added that many people in modern society use breakups to gain popularity and then quickly reconcile a week later.
Ms Asigo, who was speaking about her marriage, said that things have become much better over the years and that she has learned a lot as a result. After six years of marriage, Jua Cali and Lilly now have three little children.
