Ghanaian radio personality Andy Dosty has finally addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding his relationship with dancehall star Shatta Wale, following their recent reconciliation at the birthday celebration of lawyer and politician Ursula Owusu.
In an interview on Asempa FM monitored by GhanaStreetJournal, Andy opened up about the turbulent period of conflict between him and Shatta Wale, revealing the emotional toll it took on him.
The two public figures had a falling out that played out in the media, with accusations and counter-accusations flying between them. However, Andy Dosty was quick to clarify that, despite the back-and-forth, he remained relatively unshaken during the early stages of the feud.
“I didn’t let the exchanges affect me in the beginning,” Andy stated. “I know who I am and where I stand, so the back-and-forth didn’t bother me too much at first.”

But things took a personal turn when Shatta Wale, in his characteristic manner, made statements that went beyond their professional differences.
Andy explained that the moment Shatta Wale brought his family into the matter, it crossed a line for him. “What really pushed me to my limit was when Shatta started making personal attacks—especially when he involved my family,” he shared.
“That’s when it became too much for me, and I seriously considered cutting all ties with him. I felt like it wasn’t just a professional dispute anymore, but something much more hurtful.”
