President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the Western Region in Ghana’s development agenda, assuring residents that their trust in him will not be in vain.
Speaking during his Thank You tour, which began on January 24 in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital, Mahama expressed profound gratitude to the people of the Western Region for their overwhelming support in the 2024 general election.
“I am here today, Nananom, to assure you that under my leadership as President of the Republic of Ghana, the Western Region will take its rightful place as a priority in Ghana’s development agenda,” Mahama declared.
The Western Region, known for its rich natural resources and economic contributions to the country, has long been seen as a critical player in Ghana’s development.
