Western Region: Police On Manhunt For Robbers Who Attacked Gold-Buying Shop

According to a 3News report, the Western Region’s Ntwitwina near Wassa Nkonya had a gold-buying store attacked by a band of robbers on Wednesday, February 1.

Furthermore, the report from 3News reveals police have initiated a manhunt for the group. Three people were shot during the robbery, according to reports.

According to the police, a special team made up of officers from the investigative, intelligence, and operational branches have been sent to the town and its neighbouring areas to increase security.

“We would like to assure the public that we will surely get the robbers arrested to face justice.”

The arrest of a few robbery suspects in the vicinity on Saturday, January 28, led to the latest development. The four suspects were apprehended by the police as they fled the scene of the heist during a special anti-robbery operation.
