Daughters of Glorious Jesus, the renowned all-female gospel music group in entertainment in Ghana, have clarified that they have never submitted entries for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
In an interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, they emphasized that their primary goal as gospel ministers is to preach God’s word through music and impact lives positively.
The group expressed their disinterest in pursuing awards, stating that their unique calling prioritizes soul-winning over accolades.

“We’re not interested in picking forms for the VGMA because we are more focused on winning souls than the awards. Our calling is a unique one, and we don’t want to be distracted or deviate,” the group explained.
Despite not pursuing nominations, the trio shared that they have garnered international recognition and awards from various platforms worldwide.

They have graciously accepted various honors bestowed upon them but remain steadfast in their mission to touch lives through their music ministry.
Citing testimonies of lives transformed by their songs, particularly recounting the healing impact of their track “Nea Yehu Yi,” the group expressed gratitude for the opportunity to glorify the Lord through their music.
