, Ghana Street Journal

During a concise ceremony to celebrate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s triumph over Kennedy Agyapong in the NPP presidential primaries, Nana Akufo-Addo, the president of the republic, expressed his belief that under Bawumia’s leadership, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will secure a third consecutive victory over John Dramani Mahama.

The president emphasized that the Ghanaian people will not tolerate Mahama’s return to power, and therefore, Bawumia’s victory within the NPP will guarantee a resounding success in thwarting the ambitions of the NDC leader.

The president extended his heartfelt congratulations to Bawumia and conveyed his unwavering confidence in his ability to guide the party towards victory over the NDC. Furthermore, he underscored that Bawumia’s triumph serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of democracy.
