Warner Bros. Pictures has officially released the teaser trailer for “Final Destination: Bloodlines,“ the latest installment in the long-running supernatural horror franchise. The trailer, which dropped on February 3, 2025, has already sent chills down the spines of horror enthusiasts.

The film, directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky, and written by Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, is set to hit theaters on May 16, 2025. It follows Stefanie, a college student plagued by violent nightmares, who returns home to find the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from a grisly fate.

The teaser trailer opens with a tattoo artiste performing a tongue piercing for a client before starting to work on a tattoo on his arm. Unbeknownst to him, he sets off a chain reaction that leads to his death. This sequence is a classic example of the franchise’s signature style, combining elaborate death sequences with a sense of impending doom.

“Final Destination: Bloodlines” features a cast that includes Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Owen Patrick Joyner, Teo Briones, Anna Lore, Richard Harmon, Rya Kihlstedt, Tony Todd, and Brec Bassinger. The film is produced by New Line Cinema and will be available in theatres and IMAX screens.
