Expectations of Ghanaian netizens have been heightened after a video of rapper Sarkodie and new music sensation Safo Newman hit the internet.
The video which is now going viral, captures Sarkodie and Safo Newman linking up in a studio.

While it is not clear whether the two are working together, social media users believe the two may be cooking something they have been expecting following Newman’s breakout and subsequent endorsement by Sarkodie.
In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, the Akokoa crooner expressed his gratitude to Sarkodie for the significant impact he had on the popularity of his song, Akokea.
On possibility of meeting Sarkodie and working together with the award-winning rapper in the future, Newman had described it as a dream come true.
“His duet of my song really added volume to it and I can say that even made it go viral. Just meeting him in person and saying thank you will be enough even if a collaboration does not happen soon. I would really like to meet him in person,” he stated.
