Trick Daddy Slams Black Women For ‘Trying To Be Like White Women’

American rapper Trick Daddy took to Instagram Live on Thursday to criticize black women who he believes are attempting to emulate white women through their hairstyles.

He pointed out that for over a century, white women have also struggled to achieve the same standards of beauty that black women possess, yet he claims that black women, driven by an inferiority complex, go to great lengths to alter their appearance to resemble white women, including their choice of hairstyles.

“The white women been trying to be like y’all for 150 years and now y’all doing all the shit the white women do,” he said. “I don’t get it. Them ain’t no baby hairs. You a grown ass woman! And I been seeing girls with them standing up now. Like they wanna be free! Baby hairs leave when you two.”

His passenger, for her part, didn’t agree with the sentiment.

Trick Daddy is a prominent American rapper hailing from the Liberty City area of Miami, Florida. He gained significant recognition for his 2004 hit single “Let’s Go,” featuring Twista and Lil Jon, which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The album that accompanied this single, Thug Matrimony: Married to the Streets, also released in 2004, achieved a peak position of number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart. These works continue to represent his most successful endeavours in the music industry.
