On her first day as the Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie expressed her commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation within the ministry.
She emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving transformative results, stating, “While I may not be new to this ministry, I am open to learning new things, and I am confident that together, we can achieve great things.”
Speaking to directors and management staff at her inauguration meeting on January 27, 2025, Gomashie exuded enthusiasm for her new role, highlighting her eagerness to connect with her team.

“I am excited to embark on this journey and I look forward to working with each and every one of you,” she said.
Welcomed warmly by Vittus Otto Langmagne, the Acting Chief Director, and other key officials, Dzifa Gomashie used the opportunity to discuss the ministry’s strategic direction.
The gathering underscored her intent to blend continuity with innovation as she took on the role during John Mahama’s second term as president.
