Ghanaian actress Akofa Edjeani has voiced her disappointment over questions posed to Dzifa Gomashie, the minister-designate for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, during her appearance before the Appointments Committee.
Speaking in an interview with TV3, Akofa Edjeani expressed her concerns about the line of questioning, particularly from the Minority Leader, Afenyo-Markin.

“Some of the questions, to me, were totally unnecessary. But she did well to answer all of them; she was well composed. Yes! I am talking about the Minority Leader’s questions. I am entitled to my opinion, so to me, some of the questions were unnecessary,” Akofa stated.
Her comments come in the wake of Dzifa Gomashie’s appearance before the committee, where she faced a series of tough questions about her qualifications and vision for the sector.
While Gomashie’s composed responses were praised, Akofa’s remarks reflect a growing sentiment among some members of the public who felt that certain questions were more personal than relevant to her ministerial role.
