Rapper Tic Tac has offered his perspective on the recent comments made by Kuame Eugene regarding the music industry following the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

In a previous statement, Eugene expressed his belief that the industry has become a cutthroat game, and fans are unaware of the behind-the-scenes efforts artists make to stay relevant.

In his statement, he implied that artists manipulate the awards system to enhance their reputation, which he finds unacceptable.

According to him, the music industry has become cutthroat, with artists resorting to extreme measures to gain recognition.

While he did not directly name anyone, many interpreted his comments as a reference to Stonebwoy’s victory at the prestigious event.

“The Music Industry no be how the fans dey see am. It’s a bloody game now. People will do anything, pull any string for validation. Ay3 tan !!!!!!”

Reactin to this, Tic Tac, now known as Tic, acknowledged that the music industry has always been fiercely competitive, with individuals resorting to various tactics to achieve their goals.

Tic Tac went on to encourage Eugene to continue giving his best, assuring him that by doing so, he would not only entertain his fans but also achieve his ambitions.

In a post on X, Tic Tac wrote, “It has always been like that, Kuami. Just keep it coming and continue doing you. I have no doubt that you shall surpass your own levels. Consider whatever you are going through or you have witnessed as a challenge you must overcome on your way to greatness.

“Welcome to the game proper. By the way, congratulations on your new feat yesterday. You have got too much sauce to be licked by your fans; just believe that and never back out.”

Meanwhile, DopeNation believes that the ‘Monica’ hitmaker’s comment criticizing the music industry tends to be hypocritical.

“See the kettle calling the pot black!” DopeNation remarked on X.

Kuami Eugene in a tweet after the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024 stated that some artistes resort to any means necessary, whether positive or negative, to realize their ambitions and achieve their goals.

“The music industry is not how the fans see it. It’s a bloody game now. People will do anything, pull any string for validation. Ay3 tan!!!!!” he wrote on X.
