Dope Nation and Kuame Eugene have ignited a heated exchange on Twitter as they engage in name-calling following the conclusion of the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
The feud was initiated by Kuame Eugene, who posted a cryptic message regarding the TGMA, which was widely perceived as a subtle dig at Stonebwoy.
In his statement, he implied that artists manipulate the awards system to enhance their reputation, which he finds unacceptable.
According to him, the music industry has become cutthroat, with artists resorting to extreme measures to gain recognition.
While he did not directly name anyone, many interpreted his comments as a reference to Stonebwoy’s victory at the prestigious event.
“The Music Industry no be how the fans dey see am. It’s a bloody game now. People will do anything, pull any string for validation. Ay3 tan !!!!!!”

Nevertheless, Dope Nation, despite not being the target of shade, responded by asserting that Kuame Eugene was just as responsible for the unfounded accusations he was making.
The musical duo used their verified social media account to label Kuame Eugene as a “Kettle,” highlighting his involvement in the very behaviour he was complaining about.

Eugene stumbled upon the tweet by Dope Nation and swiftly responded, labelling them as Gbohe rappers who have yet to receive any recognition from the TGMAs.
