It appears that before her recent rise to fame, Afua Asantewaa Aduonom auditioned for TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) reality show.

Evidently, the present Ghana Tourism Ambassador has been knocking at the door of fame for quite some time.

The new footage has garnered a wide range of views from Ghanaians, as people praise her for her resilience and determination, adding to the aura as far as entertainment in Ghana is concerned.

Reports indicate that she made unsuccessful attempts on two separate occasions on the show before deciding to pursue a different path, culminating in her singing marathon endeavour in December 2023.

Certainly, she shot to stardom through the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon, although Guinness ultimately invalidated her attempt due to a few technical infractions.

TV3 Ghana has recently posted a throwback video on their Instagram platform, attracting significant interest. This captivating footage has created quite a buzz as it precedes the upcoming 17th season of the show.

Meanwhile, Ghanaians are not pleased with Afua Asantewaa’s recent announcement of her intention to make another attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest singing marathon.

Recall that Afua received overwhelming support from Ghanaians, including popular celebrities, during her previous attempt in December of last year.

Afua, the current tourism ambassador for Ghana, recently shared on social media her resolve to make another attempt after her first try was turned down by Guinness World Records.
