“There’s Hardship Everywhere In The World, I Even Had To Relocate My Children From The UK To Ghana” – Chairman Wontumi

Bernard Antwi Boasiako is the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He is also known as Chairman Wontumi. He recently disclosed that he had to relocate his children back to Ghana from the UK due to the tremendous hardship that they had experienced there.

In an interview with Movement TV, Chairman Wontumi said, “There is an overwhelming amount of hardship in the U.K. As we speak, I have relocated them all to Ghana since that country is now better than the United Kingdom.

He continued by saying that he felt he had to make the tough choice, even though all of his children are British citizens. In his opinion, with the global spread of the COVID-19 epidemic and the resulting reduction in western grain exports, there is no place on Earth that is exempt from hardship.

Chairman Wontumi wants Ghanaians to be grateful for the peace, stability, and great living conditions they have had since President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo took office. “And so, we implore the people of Ghana to remember that they are not alone in their struggles.

I had my kids in the UK, but as we speak, I’ve relocated the whole family to Ghana since the country has improved so much in the meantime. My advice to Ghanaians is that, if we don’t take care, a day will come that we are going to lose the place we are,” he emphasised.
