Ghanaian dancer Endurance Grand has addressed the perceived rivalry between her and fellow artist Afronitaa, clarifying that the tension between them is more fiction than fact.
In a recent interview on Joy Prime monitored by GhanaStreetJournal, Endurance opened up about their relationship, explaining that while their fan bases and the media may fuel the narrative of competition, in reality, the two share a mutual respect.
“The rivalry you see between me and Afronitaa is something created by the media and our fan bases. In reality, we have a good relationship,” Endurance stated, putting to rest rumours of animosity.
She went on to reveal that they maintain regular communication and often reach out to one another when necessary.
“I reach out to her when necessary, and we have mutual respect for each other. It goes beyond what people see on stage,” Endurance added, highlighting the positive bond they share behind the scenes, despite public perceptions.
The perceived feud between Endurance Grand and Afronitaa gained attention around early to mid-2023.
The rivalry seemed to stem from a mix of media speculation, fan-driven drama, and competitive dynamics in the Ghanaian music scene.
Various social media posts and public statements from fans and industry insiders contributed to the notion of a feud, though both artists have consistently downplayed these claims.
