Following the revelation by the attractive actor Van Vicker that he would not be participating in Lilwin’s film A Country Called Ghana, despite being the initial choice for the role ultimately taken by Nigeria’s Ramsey Nouah, he has now been seen on set with several Kumawood stars for a new project.
Kwaku Manu shared behind-the-scenes footage featuring the cast of the film titled The Mall. In the video, Kwaku Manu is seen socializing with prominent actors at a lounge.
The clip showcases the Kumawood actor alongside Van Vicker, Agya Koo, Prince David Osei, Aaron Adatsi, and Jeneral Ntatia as they collaborated on ideas and reviewed their scripts in preparation for an upcoming scene.
It would be recalled Van Vicker shared surprising details about how Lilwin and director Fiifi Garbin replaced him with Nigeria’s Ramsey Nouah in the movie, A Country Called Ghana.
During an interview with journalists at Hello FM in Kumasi days ago, Van explained that the director contacted him and presented the offer for the movie and the lead role they wanted him to play.
Van mentioned that they initially suggested a month-long filming schedule, but he declined due to being in school and unable to commit to such a lengthy period on set.
Instead, Van proposed completing his scenes in just ten days to ensure a quality outcome, but Fiifi never responded and eventually cast Ramsey Nouah and other Nigerian actors in the film.
To Van’s surprise, Ramsey also finished filming his part in just ten days, leaving him puzzled by the situation.
