Stonebwoy, the winner of the Artiste of the Year award, will be receiving new sponsorship and prizes from Charterhouse, the organizers of the annual Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

This decision was made by Charterhouse to provide fully paid events for the artist who wins the TGMA Artiste of the Year award, as announced by Robert Klah, the Head of Public Events and Communication for Charterhouse, on Saturday, July 13 during the Industry Mixer event.

During his speech at the Industry Mixer held at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Mr Klah stated, , “Telecel Ghana proudly sponsoring the TGMA is about to elevate the game for Artiste of the Year from today onwards.

“Starting with Stonebwoy, Telecel will fully pay for multiple paid events for the Artiste of the Year, along with other Telecel products.

“This coming week details of what is gonna be with Stonebwoy will be announced,” he added.

Stonebwoy clinched the prestigious Artiste of the Year Award by beating his main contender King Promise at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

The category also included Sarkodie, Nacee, and Black Sherif. This marks Stonebwoy’s second win in this category at the annual award ceremony.

Before this, the Bhim Nation boss had already secured four awards during the night, including International Collaboration of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Record of the Year, and Album/EP of the Year.

In his acceptance speech, Stonebwoy expressed gratitude to his fans, team, and wife for their unwavering support.

The Ashaiman-based superstar highlighted his dedication and consistency as the key factors behind his success, attributing his achievements to hard work.

He also added that he acknowledged the hate being targeted at him by a section of Ghanaians which is inevitable due to his position as a top player in the industry, adding he remains unfazed by it.
