A young man from Arizona named Jeremiah Estel Blair from Arizona, reportedly shot his parents in Chandler, near Phoenix, due to his dissatisfaction with his upbringing.

Despite his intentions, both parents survived the attack and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The 19-year-old man who appeared dishevelled, was arrested at the scene without resistance and confessed to the crime, revealing that he had been planning it for years.

Court documents obtained by Fox 10 indicated that he expressed grievances about his childhood during the incident.

“[Blair] reported being upset over his upbringing and he felt he was not treated as he should have been as a child,” Chandler police detectives wrote, per the station.

“[Blair] stated he had been planning for years to kill [the victims].”

According to court documents, the original plan was for him to carry out the shooting on Mother’s Day. However, he decided to wait until later that day.

As per AZ Family, when Blair’s father came downstairs at around 5:30 a.m., his son was already there, armed with a gun and a video camera to capture the horrific act.

The court documents mentioned that Blair informed his father about the impending event before shooting him in the forearm.

Startled by the commotion, Blair’s father rushed back to the bedroom, but his mother emerged from the room to investigate the situation and tragically got shot in the chest, as reported by the outlet.

The court documents further alleged that although Blair knew his father would likely survive the attack, he expressed satisfaction at the thought of his mother’s potential demise.
