Snoop Dogg is more famous than Jay Z- Tyrese Gibson argues

Tyrese Gibson, known for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise, has sparked controversy by claiming that Snoop Dogg is more famous than the multiple Grammy-winning Jay-Z.

While there are no definitive metrics to measure their fame, it is plausible that Jay-Z is more widely recognized due to his impressive Grammy record, holding the title for the most Grammys won by a rapper with 24, whereas Snoop Dogg has yet to receive any.

However, Tyrese disagrees with this perspective, asserting that Snoop Dogg would attract a larger following than Jay-Z whenever they appear together.

This assertion was made during an episode of Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, where the two engaged in a discussion about the global celebrity status of Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z.

“Who’s a bigger rapper globally? Most famous of the two. Jay-Z or Snoop Dogg?” Tyrese asked. “If Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg were in a mall in Moscow, who would shut the mall down? [Snoop Dogg is the] biggest f***ing superstar in the world.

“That’s my big homie. Long Beach, West Coast, I wish a motherf***er would.” We know that Snoop and the actor/singer are very good friends, with both of them supporting each other through some tough personal hardships over recent months.
