Showboy has shared the one condition that would prevent him from returning to a life of crime, following his reputation for theft and other criminal activities that led to his frequent incarcerations.
The former convict made an appearance on Adom FM’s Ofie Kwanso, where he discussed his life post-release from a US prison after a violent altercation with the late US Junior.
During the interview, the artist and social media personality expressed his desire to pursue a legitimate music career, hoping to avoid falling back into his criminal past.
Despite his efforts to make a positive change, Showboy mentioned that he has not received support from those he had previously assisted, nor has he found any collaborators to help boost his presence in the music industry.
He expressed concerns that this lack of support could potentially lead him back to his criminal ways, despite his best intentions to stay on the right path.
Showboy also highlighted the limited job opportunities in Ghana, particularly ones that could sustain his desired lifestyle, adding that many artists he had once supported have now turned their backs on him.
He finally concluded by saying; “One day when I become a worldwide sensation, I hope no Ghanaian artiste will call me for a feature because I won’t grant any for anyone.”
