The General Overseer of the Prophetic Hill Chapel Prophet, Nigel Gaisie, has responded to the accusations made by Lilian Kumah, the wife of the late John Kumah, who was the Deputy Minister of Finance and Member of Parliament of Ejisu.
Gaisie stated that Lilian has allowed herself to be manipulated by his political enemies in order to tarnish his reputation. He believes that the interview she gave to Asaase Radio, where she made wild allegations against him, was part of a larger plan to discredit him.
The Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, after a brief illness.
Following his unfortunate death, Prophet Nigel Gaisie gained significant attention when a video of him accurately predicting the politician’s demise surfaced online.
However, Lilian Kumah retaliated by exposing certain unsavoury aspects of Gaisie’s personal life during an interview on Asaase Radio.
She claimed that Gaisie, who was close to the family, exploited their private information for his benefit by disguising it as a prophecy to gain popularity.
“Nigel Gaisie was like a brother. He knows my late husband, lawyer John Kumah personally, one-on-one. We have sat in this house and eaten together several times.
That is how far we go. When he came from abroad to start a church in Ghana, he came to my church, Disciples of Christ Ministries, and I did a programme with him dubbed ‘Let the Prophet Speak.”
“We know him very well and have been aware since November 2023 that the late John Kumah was seriously sick. My husband had a lot of respect for men of God in this country and that included Nigel Gaisie when my husband and I thought he was a genuine man of God,” she had explained.
In response to Apostle Kumah’s allegations, Prophet Nigel Gaisie addressed the issue during a live recording on social media on Monday, March 11, 2024, on his Jabez Cry programme.
He revealed that upon receiving the revelation about Dr. Kumah’s death, he made several attempts to communicate with him, but unfortunately, he was denied access.
According to Prophet Nigel Gaisie, Apostle Kumah herself did not make any effort to facilitate a meeting between him and her husband to discuss other aspects of the prophecy.
He strongly believes that Apostle Kumah’s decision to grant the interview was solely to discredit his work as a prophet, influenced by politicians who hold a negative opinion of his work.
