Shatta Wale’s absence from Richard Nii Armah Quaye’s grand birthday celebration has ignited widespread debate across social media.
Many fans of the self-acclaimed Dancehall King believe that the billionaire was unable to afford Wale’s booking fee, a claim that seems questionable considering the hefty sums he allegedly spent on other celebrities at the event.

Popular YouTuber Kwadwo Sheldon, who appears to have inside knowledge of the situation, dropped a bombshell in a tweet.
He claimed that Mr. Richard Nii Armah Quaye had to make a choice between inviting Shatta Wale or his close associate, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite. In the end, he chose Despite, as the business mogul is his mentor.
“Sheldon’s tweet suggests that Wale’s past jabs at Despite may have cost him an invitation. If you recall, back in October 2023, Shatta Wale openly criticized Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Fadda Dickson, two influential figures in the media and business space.”
