After a successful performance at the just ended Ghana Music Awards UK, Shatta Wale is set to release another banger tilted “Incoming”. The song is from his upcoming album, Konekt a will be released on 18th October in London. The release party will come along with his birthday bash on 20th October.

In May 2023, he posted a flyer on his social media platforms announcing the album’s title: Konekt Album. He hinted that it was about time that he ventured into that musical genre by adding the caption “It’s Time” to the post.

Speaking to his current manager, Sammy Flex, Wale hinted that the up coming production is under Bankuli entertainment in Nigeria. The ‘On God’ hitmaker, Shatta Wale, revealed that his long-awaited new album will be filled with Afrobeat songs.

The Ghanaian dancehall artiste won the award of Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards UK. He received the prestigious award at a ceremony on October 7, 2023.

Shatta Wale beat out a strong field of nominees, including Black Sherif, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Piesie Esther, to win the award. The ‘On God’ hitmaker also won Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Song of The Year, and the enviable Most Dominant Fan Base of the Year spots.
