Kwaw Kese has disclsoed that despite the feud between him and Shatta Wale, the controversial Dancehall artist genuinely displays affection towards him, which is something Sarkodie fails to do.
In fact, he specifically mentioned that Shatta Wale surpasses Sarkodie in terms of demonstrating true love towards him, even though he played a significant role in shaping Sarkodie’s early career.
Kwaw Kese emphasized that the back and forth exchanges he has with Wale on social media are confined to that particular platform, and that in real life, the SM boss gets along with him.
He stated his expectation for Sarkodie to exhibit love towards him, considering the role he played in Sarkodie’s career. However, he expressed disappointment in Sarkodie’s disrespectful and arrogant behavior towards him.
During an interview on Okay FM, Kwaw Kese explained that his online feud with Sarkodie stemmed from Sarkodie’s rejection of his proposal for a new collaboration.
Kwaw Kese expressed his unhappiness with the fact that Sarkodie, who gained prominence in the industry after receiving assistance from him when he was unknown, is now disregarding him.
Four years back, Kwaw Kese took a stand on this issue for the first time by expressing his disappointment that Sarkodie did not take up his offer for a collaboration.
During an Instagram live interview with 4syte TV, Kwaw Kese mentioned that he was optimistic about Sarkodie dropping a new track, so he sent him a beat.
Despite Sarkodie’s assurance to respond, the ‘Dondo’ artist revealed that he is still anticipating a reply.
Kwaw Kese further stated that Sarkodie has seen his follow-up messages but has opted to disregard them.
“If you won’t do it, you say I can’t do it. That is reality,” Kwaw Kese stated adding that if Sarkodie did not like the beats, he could have said so.
He stated that musicians have to be each other’s keeper if they want to succeed.
“Today you might be up, tomorrow you don’t know who might be up,” he added.
