Sean Paul is gearing up for his first performance in Kenya in twenty years, according to multiple reports making rounds on some Kenyan portals.

This concert marks a significant moment for both the artist and his Kenyan fans. Sean Paul last graced the Kenyan stage in 2004, delivering a memorable performance at the Carnivore Grounds that left a lasting impression on those lucky enough to be in attendance.

At that time, he was basking in the success of his Grammy Award-winning album, Dutty Rock, which propelled him to international fame.

Sean Paul, born Sean Paul Henriques on January 8, 1973, in Kingston, Jamaica, is a renowned Dancehall and reggae artist who gained international fame in the late 1990s.

He is celebrated for his distinctive fusion of reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop, which has significantly contributed to the global popularity of Caribbean music.

His breakthrough came with the 2002 album Dutty Rock, featuring hits like “Get Busy” and “Gimme the Light.” The album won a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album, solidifying his position in the music industry.
